Chantelle McNeish Design works closely with your builder, contractor and other tradespeople to ensure a smooth process. We prioritize organization and communication with our clients and with our tradespeople so that everyone is on the same page. Each client has a budget and whether it is big or small, we promise to provide a fresh and beautiful new interior that you will love!

 

Our clients understand the value of a well-designed home. Building from the ground up or renovating an existing space can be a large investment and can sometimes feel like a long process, but by trusting the vision that we build together, we know you will love the end result!

 

 

Step 1: Consultation

Every design begins with an in home consultation where we listen to your wish list, your wants/needs/goals, access the scope of the project, determine your budget & timeline as well as your expectations of us. We will also measure and photograph the space as needed. This meeting gives you an opportunity to meet and get to know us too as we feel it is extremely important for you to feel comfortable communicating with your designer! The initial consultation usually takes 1-2 hours but may be more depending on the scope of the project.

 

Step 2: Make a Plan

After our initial consultation, we go to the drawing board to create floorplans, 3D renderings, shopping lists, etc. depending on your design needs. We will send the plan details to you and meet with you to discuss, revise and discuss the next steps.

 

Step 3: Let’s Do This!

Once the design plan is complete and you are ready to move forward with the project, we are happy to work with tradespeople that you have supplied or we can help you hire some of the talented builders, contractors, electricians, plumbers and artisans we recommend.

In Home Consultation

Let’s do a walk-through of the room you want to renovate or even your whole house! We can chat about furniture layout, furniture & décor recommendations, paint colours and fixture & finish recommendations. This type of consultation usually is about an hour, but may be more depending on the scope of the project. This consultation is perfect for the DIY’er to get a professional opinion for their space.

 

Kitchen Design

Are you planning to renovate your kitchen? Chantelle McNeish Design delivers fresh and functional kitchen designs including detailed AutoCAD drawings and 3D computer generated renderings. Once you have a design plan, use it to connect with contractors, cabinetmakers and other tradespeople for quoting.

 

Bathroom Design

A bathroom renovation may seem simple – shower, toilet & vanity = done . . . Not so fast! A bathroom renovation involves lots of tiny but important details (faucet choice, shower seat, soap niches, tile patterns, mirrors, lighting, etc.). Chantelle McNeish Design creates a detailed bathroom design with AutoCAD drawings and 3D computer generated renderings to help you start the process. We also assist with fixture and finish selection.

 

New Construction

Building a new home? It is never too early to talk with a designer. We work alongside your architect, builder and other tradespeople to ensure you get the home of your dreams. We look at the function and flow of the home, room to room and also work on the fine design details that make your home special. We can provide 3D computer generated renderings, cabinetry design (kitchen, bath, laundry, built in’s, etc.), furniture space planning, fixture & finish selection, furniture & décor selection.

 

Basement Design

Whether starting from scratch or renovating an existing basement space, Chantelle McNeish Design creates unique and beautiful basement designs helping you maximize that extra square footage! Detailed AutoCAD drawings and 3D computer generated renderings ensure you know what your completed space will look like before you swing the first hammer!

 

Interior Styling

Not sure how to bring your space together? Chantelle McNeish Design can help! We work with you to determine your design style and then source products and create a detailed shopping list including items, SKU #’s, prices and where to purchase. This option works well for the DIY’er. Don’t have the time to go shopping yourself, let us be your personal shopper! We will source, order and stage your space so that you don’t have to!
