Project Reveal: TV Console

This new condo unit in Stratford, ON was missing a focal point in the living room and a blank wall with the TV hanging on was not going to cut it!

By adding this custom designed fireplace console, the attention is diverted from the TV on the wall and focussed on the flickering flames and décor on the open shelves.

Note: when we photographed this piece, the homeowner was in the process of moving in so the shelves were not stylized yet!

In a small space, storage is key to an organized home. This console provides lots of surface space for décor and storage. Using a combination of baskets, boxes and books, clever storage solutions become part of the décor in the space.

The cabinetry is finished in Benjamin Moore "Chantilly Lace" with a white quartz fireplace surround.

The open shelving on either side is adjustable and notched to accommodate a cold air return and an electrical outlet.
